Interview with a hooligan

Short interview chat series to introduce the community and everybody else to the people that hangout at Ranchita BODEGA. Our guest picks the topic and we come up with three questions.  Very impromptu and fun.

Only Store for Miles

-Nov 2023

We have tried and failed to find contractors to continue with the construction.  All quotes we received have been more than double what we they were last year when we budgeted for the rebuild.  The primary issue is the project is small (1350 sqft) and we are remote. We have not completely given up, but we must reopen the only store in town and work with what we have.  The 300 sqft building we used as a temporary site will become the permanent store.  We will continue to repair and beautify the lot as we figure out funding path to complete construction of the steel building.  Stop by and checkout what we’ve done so far, think you’ll like it.

Ranchita BODEGA is a desert market, beer garden, and outdoors gear shop. Great place to stop for anything from a cold drink, hiking/camping resupply, essential items, or just to hang out. Good vibes is very important to us, all are welcome.
